About the food
Burrata is a premium cow or buffalo milk cheese made from mozzarella and cream. The outer casing is solid mozzarella cheese, while the inside contains Stracciatella and cream, giving it an unusual, soft texture and creamy taste. Amazingly, Burrata was originally a useful way for cheesemakers to use up the ritagli ("scraps" in Italian) of their mozzarella.
L Dairy makes its Buffalo Burrata by hand, only when ordered so that we provide the freshest possible product. This is evident when our Burrata is sliced open and the creamy Stracciatella flows out! Thanks to its flavor and differing textures inside and outside, our Burrata goes well with salad, cold cuts, crusty bread, fresh tomatoes with olive oil, cracked black pepper, or pasta.
