About the food

Marinated and cooked meat from the neck or shoulder of a pig, usually served in thin slices. Slowly smoked over applewood, it's a real treat you can't find anywhere else!

This old-fashioned smoked capicola is made from hand-trimmed boneless pork shoulder and produced in the traditional Italian method. This pork roast-like meat is just like home-style, with a tender texture. Make a sandwich with your favourite bread for a smokey taste. Enjoy it on a classic meaty sandwich with fresh mozzarella, provolone, peppers, and onions.

Ready to eat, just open the package and serve, it goes well with everything and is perfect for sandwiches, breakfast toasts, or as a charcuterie board ingredient.

Pork neck is the perfect ratio of 30 % fat to 70 % lean, 100% real meat.

Shelf Life: 0ΒΊC to 4ΒΊC for 7 days. Once opened, to be consumed within 3 days. If not consumed, products must be frozen.

Grilled Cheese - Capicola Sandwich

Use our Grilled Cheese - Capicola Sandwich recipe for an Italian twist on your favourite comfort food! Prep for our capicola sandwich only takes 10 minutes.

What You Need

1 ciabatta or other bread

2 pcs thin capicola slices

1 Tbsp. chopped sweet cherry peppers (optional)

1 Cheese Slice

2 tsp.  Mayo

Let's Make It

1. Heat panini grill.

2. Fill bread slices with capicola, peppers, and cheese.

3. Spread outside the sandwich with mayo.

4. Grill for 2 to 3 min. or until cheese is melted, and the sandwich is golden brown on both sides.

If You Don't Have a Panini Grill

Heat the skillet on medium heat. Cook the sandwich for 3 min. on each side or until the cheese is melted, and the sandwich is golden brown on both sides, gently press down the top of the sandwich with a spatula to flatten slightly as it cooks.
