This is a paste which helps to cook the most commonly served dish in Indian households. Can even be used to cook Dal Tarka and Dal Makhani. It is homemade fresh masala. It is vegetarian and vegan friendly.
It is absolutely homemade and is fresh. It is not too spicy, so you can add chilis to suite your palate.
Packed in a glass bottle. Shelf life is 4-6 weeks refrigerated. Please refrigerate it the moment you get the delivery.
Heat the oil in a pan...medium fire
Add cooking oil or ghee
Followed by 2-3 table spoons of the masala
Sauté for a bit, then add powdered red chilli. There is some chilli added to the masala, so please be cautious.
After a minute, add tomato to the pan
Followed by salt, this is to your taste until you see the masala roasting
Then add pressure cooked dal.
Simmer the whole mixture until the consistency is to your taste.
