Bak Chang may be commonly available in the Klang Valley but our version guarantees chunks of luscious pork belly in addition to the usual suspects of salted egg yolk, chestnut, dried shrimps and mushroom. This is not for those on a diet. Yes, our pork belly chunks are layers of both fat and lean meat and we are proud of it! So only order if you enjoy your pork belly half-lean-half-fat (cantonese = pun fei sau)!
Enjoy Penang bak chang that taste as good as the original but minus the common ailments associated with glutinous rice (gastric, bloatedness, indigestion, wind)!
The glutinous rice is replaced with :
1. Rolled Oats – organic
2. Pearl black rice – organic
3. High fiber baby porridge- organic
4. Pearl brown rice – organic
5. Beras QQ Royal (sunflower brand)
6. Black eye beans
+ Rolled oats, pearl black rice, baby porridge, pearl brown rice, QQ rice & black eye beans
+ 2-3 chunky, tender pork belly
+ 1 whole sweet chestnut
+ 1 whole salted egg yolk
+ black mushroom
+ dried shrimps

Shelf Life & Storage Guideline:
1 week in the fridge.
3 months in the freezer.
Recommended way to consume: Thaw to room temperature, steam at high heat for 10 minutes.
