Everyone loves pineapples tarts. I’m introducing my 96 year old Grandma’s authentic Nyonya Pineapple Tarts recipe and design.
It’s covered with the jam inside as she didn’t want us to just eat the jam and waste the pastry but wanted it to look pretty and different from others and yummy at the same time.
The pineapple jam is totally wrapped in a thin rich buttery pastry that looks like a flower that will totally melt and the jam will explode in your mouth. Once you’ve tried it, you will be asking for more.
Pineapple jam to the pastry is made from scratch. The pineapples I just bought from Thailand is freshly home-cooked over a charcoal fire and I use Lescure French Butter together with premium ingredients for these yum yum yummy tarts. It’s definitely love at first bite. No added sugar or preservatives to ensure freshness.
