My husband flew 3,000KM from India to Malaysia. We met in Dubai and got married right one year after that.
He gave up his career in the US & Dubai, just so we can stay closer to my mother. As I am the only child from a single-parent family.
I've been a vegetarian all my life, because of my religious beliefs. And understands the pain of not being able to have more variety of tastes.
So we started our own Northern Indian pure vegetarian restaurant in Old Klang Road back in 2010.
But It was rough running a restaurant. It was almost like a routine that my husband would head out at 3AM midnight, just because our restaurant ran out of gas. But we pulled through and topped at 6 outlets in 2019.
Then pandemic hits. We are forced to close off all of our restaurants and start our influence in another way.
We started Veganza, to sell frozen & ready-to-eat vegan meals.
Veganism is a movement we believed in. Though pandemic is a rough hit to our finances & business.
I think what keeps us going is a “promise”.
A promise to our customers that we put decades of time and effort into. To bring pure vegan food at peace of mind.
I’m glad for the things that have happened and the choices we’ve made. It puts us where we are now, and where we need to be in the future.
